The Smart Map is an interactive map that contains live Northamptonshire centric traffic and travel information which can help you when planning journeys in and around Northamptonshire.
The map contains:

- Incidents and Accidents - Live information about the latest Incidents and Accidents that have occurred on Northamptonshire’s road network and how they are likely to impact your journey.
- Roadworks – Information about the location of current and future roadworks that will be on the road and how they are likely to impact your journey.
- Live Car Park Occupancy – Find out whether there is a space for you to park your car in a Northamptonshire car park using the vacancy and percentage full information.
- Live Variable Message Sign (VMS) Information – Find out what message is currently being displayed on the numerous roadside VMSs that are located across Northamptonshire’s road network. The messages on these signs can often help you when deciding what route to take for your journey.
