The East Northamptonshire Green Way has a brand new project, 'Out of the Water' which will enhance the stretch of the East Northamptonshire Greenway from Rushden Lakes to Asda in the heart of Rushden. Funded by the Heritage Lottery through the Nenescape Landscape Partnership Scheme, this five year project will improve this section of the Greenway by providing a clear link, installing signposting and welcoming gateways, creating a ‘Friends of the Greenway’ group, implementing and delivering a landscape management plan and making it a nicer green corridor linking the new and old Rushden. Nenescape is delivering 16 other projects with several partner organisations along the River Nene between Northampton and Peterborough.
