A45 Daventry Development Link Road

 

A 3.5 mile link road which opens in summer 2018 will improve connectivity between Daventry and the strategic road network, including the M1, and enable the planned expansion of the town.

As well as improving transport links between the towns of Northampton and Daventry, the road will help relieve the surrounding villages of Flore and Weedon of through traffic helping improve the quality of life for residents and reducing the number and severity of road accidents in these areas.

It is being delivered by Northamptonshire County Council using the award-winning Northamptonshire Revolving Infrastructure Fund. This combines different funding streams, including Local Growth Fund, County Council funding, developer contributions and Community Infrastructure Levy receipts from Daventry District Council.
