It's no secret that Rushden Lakes has become the new favourite place for shopping, lakeside activities, dining out and family friendly activities in Northamptonshire.
The parking here can get very busy, especially on the weekends, which is why we are here to tell you the alternative ways you can get here without the worry of finding a parking space.
A bus from Kettering to the Lakes takes less than an hour. Or you could even cycle here which will take around an hour.
A bus from Northampton will take just over an hour. There's also the option to cycle from Northampton and part of the route even includes the National Cycle Route 6 which will take you through some gorgeous landscapes.
If you live in Corby and fancy a trip then a train journey to Wellingborough will take you 17 minutes and then you can either bike from the station (it takes less than 30 minutes!) or get a bus which will take you around 40 minutes.
